2010 Brodie Cohort bought in 2011. Still in great condition both functional and aesthetic but it would like a little TLC, including a rear tire and a tune up. This is an excellent bike and fun to ride just for pleasure or as a commuter. It was a 'hard tail' mountain bike but I made a few modifications to make it a hybrid commuter. I have the original purchase receipt and it includes the changed mentioned below. There is nothing shady with this bike.
Switched out the factory 26" wheels with 700c's and the rubber pedals with steels ones that are nice and grippy. Also hacked about an inch from each side of the handlebars.
Has mechanical disk brakes and 24 speeds and everything shifts and cranks just as it should. Has a GoPro camera mount on the handlebars. Seat is in great shape, comfortable and firm. The bike rides quiet, is fast (for the style), and maneuverable. It's a great commuter bike, which is how I've mostly used it, but I also had a lot of fun on a few ~100km trips.
I don't really know what size the bike is but I'm 6'2" and have the seat extended to it's maximum and I feel something a little bigger would be better. The seat tube is 18.5" if I measured it correctly.
