Customer Service - Eight week training program

ServiceAbility Training Program is an employment program designed to get you working in the Service industry in Courtenay and the Comox Valley.
What can you expect?
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm with one hour off for lunch and several breaks throughout the day.
180 hours of workshops including: job search strategies, resumes and cover letters, essential skills and career exploration.
10 certificates including: First Aid, Serving It Right, FoodSafe, PEAK Retail Management Training.
Individualized support: including 6 months of follow up and job search support.
A fun group environment: including people from all ages and backgrounds.
How else can we help? We can provide assistance with transportation costs, work clothing and getting criminal record checks.
If you are unemployed, not eligible for EI, 18 or older, and interested in a career in retail sales and supervision, food and beverage serving, restaurant management or office support, ServiceAbility may be right for you.
This program is funded by the Government of Canada and is delivered in partnership with the Province of B.C. through the Canada-British Columbia Job Fund.
