Home made pump system. Consisting of a 1/4 H.P. 1725 RPM - 120/230VAC motor. With a solid brass positive displacement gear pump made by "Fynspray Marine Pumps in Australia"" the pump gears are solid brass 1-7/8" wide, The inlet and outlet ports are 1"NPT.This unit was originally made for cleaning & circulating 50 gals of contaminated hydraulic oil in my backhoe/front end loader machine. The primary inlet filter uses a oil furnace filter for the big particles. The oultlet of the pump had a secondary 10 micron particulate & water trap filter. (note; the secondary filter system has been removed and is now on a log splitter. Does the job quite well. Being a solid brass pump the can be used for virtually any liquid, including water-oil-salt water-gasoline with fire safety precautions. The motor pulley is a 3" dia - the pump pulley is a 7" dia which gives a 2.3:1 reduction. gives a gear pump speed of 750 RPM at approx 21 GPM. There was slight leakage at the end caps, So I would not use it in a pressurized system. Thanks, Tony in Royston
