Beautiful, free-of-heart slabs milled from local old growth Douglas fir logs.
Extremely high quality wood, hard to find. Fine-grain. Would make good, strong furniture.
Several clear pieces.
Trees have been down about a year.
Slabs range from 4' to 9' long, with 2-3" thicknesses, and average widths are approximately 18"+.
The 9' slabs are mostly $200.
Smaller/narrower pieces are $150. Wider pieces are $250 (only a few left).
Hope to find good homes for these magnificent pieces... Don't know if we'll ever run into any more old growth fir.
Various slabs and custom milling available.
