Part Time Janitorial & Production Assistant

Vancouver Island Sea Salt is Canada's first sea salt harvestry and located on a beautiful farm in the Oyster River/Black Creek area. We are currently seeking a Part Time Janitorial & Production Assistant offering approximately 12-16 hours per week. The role will require week-end (Saturday & Sunday) availability and have you working on your own so ability to work independently is required. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining salt harvesting production equipment (including pumps and kettles) and reporting daily to production manager. The role will also require general maintenance and cleaning of all salt harvestry areas including production, packaging, storage, staff and outdoor areas. Occasional painting can also be expected.
